We use cacao beans from Colombia in our handcrafted chocolate bar. The beans are slow roasted and stone ground for 2/3 days in our chocolate kitchen. The smallholder farmers in Macao, Antioquia region have been growing cacao for centuries, The cacao is harvested by two hundred associated smallholder farmers, of which 35% are women.
