We use cacao beans from Tanzania in our handcrafted chocolate bar. The beans are slow roasted and stone ground for 2/3 days in our chocolate kitchen. This award winning cacao is grown by smallholder farmers in the Kilombero valley bordering the Udzungwa Mountains national park. Cacao is fermented at social enterprise “Koloa Kamili”. Farmers receive premium prices for quality, and in a short time a happy farming community has been created.
