Origins

We use organic cacao beans from Nicaragua in our handcrafted chocolate bar. The beans are slow roasted and stone ground for 2/3 days in our chocolate kitchen. The cocoa is grown by smallholder farmers from the villages of Matiguas, Muy Muy and San Ramon, in central Nicaragua. Thanks to the work on improving quality the farmers have access to a specialty market, improving their livelihood substantially.
